Territorial-based Incentive System

The Territorial-based Incentive Program aims to operationalize support for small-scale investment operations for the creation of micro and small enterprises and for the expansion or modernization of their activity, contributing to the maintenance of employment and the modernization and resilience of local economies.

Who can benefit?
Execution Conditions

  • Micro and small enterprises (regardless of legal form);

  • Companies with at least one paid workstation at the date of application;

​

  • Projects with minimum eligible investment of €25,000 (depending on the area) and a maximum of €300,000;

​

  • Maximum execution period of 2 years;

​

  • Positive net equity and compliance with the financial autonomy criteria required in the notice.

What are the Financial Benefits?

  • Support Type: Non-reimbursable incentive (grant).

​

  • Financing Rates: Base support of 40% of eligible investment, reaching 50% for investments in low-density territories within the Coimbra Region.

​

  • Financing Limits: Targeted at intermediate-scale projects, with eligible investment ranging from 40,000€ to 300,000€.

What can be Funded

  • Machinery & IT: Machines, equipment, hardware, software, and installation.

  • Works & Infrastructure: Construction, remodeling, or adaptation of buildings.

​

  • Technology & Patents: Acquisition of patents, licenses, and specialized software.

​

  • Studies & Engineering: Marketing plans, engineering services, and audits.

​

  • Consulting: Specialized support and expenditure validation (Accountant/ROC).

​

  • Branding & Certifications: New trademark registration and product/process certification.
